VANESSA BRUNO, EFFORTLESS SOPHISTICATION

Born in France to a Danish mother and an Italian father, Vanessa Bruno grew up in the fashion world. At just 25 years old, she launched her own brand and began her career as a fashion designer in Paris. A few years later, she created the sequined Cabas Tote that would become the brand's emblem. Available in infinite styles and colors, it represents the essential fashion of the free and modern woman, independent of codes.

More than 20 years later, her extended collection of clothes and accessories are both chic and relaxed. They combine comfort and romance, and the real Parisian allure. Whether she lives in Paris, New York or Shanghai, the woman Vanessa dresses is always the same “free, modern, timeless and naturally beautiful.”

Responsible manufacturing

Cool, chic and eco-friendly. In keeping with the company values, the Cabas tote stands out even in its manufacture. The canvas and linen versions are made in France in our workshops located near Paris, while the leather versions are made in Italy, and the raffia versions are hand-woven in Madagascar.

For over twenty years, we have been meticulously selecting the suppliers we work with, so that every element of the Cabas can be sourced as locally as possible. The cotton canvas is sourced in northern France and the OEKO-TEX-certified sequins are woven in France. Assembled in our historic workshops a stone's throw from Paris, our Cabas are made in France.. Carefully sourced, also from the same partner for more than two decades, the linen we use is woven in Belgium and benefits from the "Premium Linen" designation, which guarantees its quality and traceability.

The same care is taken in the manufacture of our raffia versions: the palm leaves in which they are made are grown, dried and processed on site and each bag is hand-woven using traditional techniques.
